Valentine's Day is Coming

I think every year it gets harder and harder to decide what to get your spouse/significant other. Take me for instance I've been with my husband for 12 1/2 years. That's a lot of Valentine's Days, Christmases, Birthdays, and random presents. Coming up with something unique every year isn't easy.

Yes I know we're only a week away, so getting something ready in this amount of time won't be easy, but here are some ideas all the same.

Boudior Shoot:
Now this is an amazing concept. I've seen it used mostly in Bridal shoots, but I think this is perfectly applicable to those of us who have been married for a while, and would like to spice it up a bit!!!

Check out just a few images to get an idea if this could be for you...

Now these are some HOT images, can you imagine yourself in those shots? I have a good friend who does photography, so she would do a shoot like this for me, but check out photographers, and go with someone you feel very comfortable with.

Some other great ideas:

Cook dinner:

now I'm not talking about an everyday meal. I'm talking about a nice sit down dinner. Go ahead and break out the good china, and some candles to set the mood. Send the kids to Grandma's, put the pets away. This time is for just the two of you. Also make sure to play some soft music. Pick selections that mean something to the two of you. For me I've  made a CD recently with all of the songs from our wedding that meant something to us.

Get a couple's Massage:

This is an activity I think you could really enjoy. Check out the spas in your area. I know locally one of the Casino's offers one of the most amazing spa experieinces. This can be a very intimate time for the two of you to share.

Make some Love Coupons:

Now this is an idea I love, as a creative mind. Choose things like:
  • Romantic Dinner
  • Kisses
  • Massages
  • Sex (I know it seems obvious, but...)
The list is really endless, be naughty, be fun, whatever suits your style best!

Now these are just a few of the ideas I have for you to make this Valentine's a success. Don't waste another minute, get to planning!
